What employment support is
NDIS employment support is a Capacity Building support that helps you find, prepare for, and keep a job, or access further education or training.
It is not Disability Employment Services (DES). DES is a separate Commonwealth program. NDIS employment support is different, it is funded through your NDIS plan and tailored to your individual goals, not delivered through a government job service.
Both can operate at the same time. NDIS employment support and DES are designed to complement each other, not replace one another.
Employment support is for participants who want to work, are working toward work, or need help maintaining employment they already have, and whose disability creates specific barriers to doing that without support.
What we help you with
SA Holistic Care is registered under NDIS registration group 0102, Assistance to Access and Maintain Employment or Higher Education. We provide support with:
Discovering what work suits you
Understanding your strengths, interests, and the kinds of work that match your abilities. Identifying realistic employment goals based on what you can do and what you want to do.
Preparing for work
Resume writing, job application support, and interview preparation. Building the confidence and practical skills to present yourself to an employer.
Workplace skills and routines
Learning how to get to and from work, how to manage workplace routines, how to work with colleagues, and how to navigate workplace expectations. Practical preparation for what the job actually involves day to day.
On-the-job support
Support during the early stages of employment, workplace orientation, managing new routines, and building the confidence to operate independently in the role.
Maintaining employment
If you are already employed but finding it difficult to stay in work because of your disability, we can provide support to help you manage workplace challenges and keep your job.
Accessing further education or training
Support to access TAFE, university, or vocational training, including navigating enrolment, building study skills, and managing the transition into an education environment.
School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES)
Structured support for school leavers transitioning from education into the workforce. SLES is specifically designed for participants in the period immediately after leaving school and focuses on workplace readiness and early employment experience.
What employment support does not cover
NDIS employment support does not cover:
Is this support right for you?
Employment support may be right for you if:

How to get started
Our process is designed to make it easy for you to start with us
A conversation about your needs
Call us, submit an enquiry , or book a free consultation. Tell us your current situation, your routine, and what's most important to get right.
We understand your goals and situation
We talk through what work means to you, what you have tried before, what barriers exist, and what your NDIS plan covers. We identify where support will make the most difference.
We build your employment support plan
We develop a clear plan, what skills to build, what preparation is needed, and how support will work as you move toward employment or further education.
Support begins
Practical, one-on-one support delivered around your schedule and your goals. Consistent worker, consistent approach.
Into work and beyond
As you build confidence and skills, support steps back. If you are moving into a role, we can provide on-the-job support in the early stages. The goal is a participant who can sustain their employment independently.
